Christmas Outreaches

Two of my favorite neighbors: little Tiw and her grandma Posted by Picasa

So this Friday Beth and I are hosting a special Christmas program in our neighborhood. It's mostly for the kids (like little Tiw pictured above). But we're hoping the parents will come out, too. We've got a skit planned that tells the Christmas story (performed by a wonderful short-term team in town at the moment). In addition to the skit, we'll have games, Christmas cookies, and a craft.

Most Thai people associate Christmas with Santa Claus. Our hope is to proclaim Christ...that they may know the true meaning of Christmas...that they may know Christ himself.

We will be praying for you, for the Thai to know Christ, to hear him in the songs and see him in your actions...

Merry Christmas, Faye!
